Margie - I wish our Farmer's Market had fruit, unfortunately, the only thing there last week were apples.  A lot of the markets in WI are only WI products, which unfortunately often don't include a lot of fruit.  I want to read the Andrea Kane's books, but need to get them from the library.

Mary - I enjoyed the first Gaslight book.  You could tell she was building characters that need to be fully developed.  I have requested the next two from the library.

DonnaH - Hardy's birthday is on Easter next year.  With that late March birthday, I have done a variety of Easter bdays myself.  Actually, when I was born, my mom started labor during Easter dinner - waited until it was done before going to the hospital.

DonnaM - Congrats to Petaluma.  What a great accomplishment.  I haven't read Joann Ross before, will have to look for her.

Sandi - I did know that Elizabeth Peters had a couple of other writing names, but didn't know what she wrote under them.  Good luck on your kitchen.

As for the reading coupons, I wish I could say it was my thing, but it is our library that does it.  It partners with a bunch of community and business partners and offers things like a free kids admission to the zoo or State Fair.  The kids like it.  Their favorite is the free pan pizza from Pizza Hut.  I guess we will try and get that one soon.  :)

Read the first Gaslight mystery Murder on Astor Place (Gaslight Mystery)haven't read anything else since.  Not in the right mood I guess.  I am with Margie on being glad for the weekend.  I have been in a funk at work.  Just not motivated, which is not good, but hard to get out of.  Next week, we are crazy busy through Wednesday and then slowww down, so I am taking off Friday for me and then we get Monday off (Labor Day) and then taking Tuesday off as it is the kids first day of school and I like to take them and pick them up from school.  Hopefully, that long break will put me in a happy frame of mind.

We are picnicing this weekend, Saturday is Mike's work and Sunday is Mike's Mom's family picnic.  Sunday is a real drag as the park is really crummy and it is 2 hours away, but Mike's Mom wants us to go.  Saturday is usually a lot of fun for the kids, his company often has bouncy houses and other stuff, so they have lots of fun.  Hope everyone has a great weekend.
