I Forgot

I knew I'd remember sooner or later.  What a wonderful idea to invite Sadhbh here.  She's got an excellent sense of humour, and can read up a storm!

Cady, you have a beautiful family -- and are those the family pets in the background of the pictures?????  {;-p

Sandi, I hope your renovations get done sooner, rather than later, and that they don't find any more things wrong.  I've heard that some contractors will try and talk you into fixing things that aren't broke, just so they can squeeze a little more $$ out of you.  So make sure you examine everything they touch, and satisfy yourself that it's being done properly.  Even if you think you don't know anything about renos, anyone with a little common sense can tell if something isn't the way it should be.

Wow!  thank goodness for the auto-save function here!  We just had a power bump, and I thought for sure I'd lost everything, but I get back here, and there it is, saved under "draft".  Whew!  Now I'd better hurry up and post it, lest we have another. . .

I picked up Roxanne St. Claire's Make Her Pay from the library yesterday.  Wouldn't you know it, book #10 in the Bullet Catchers series is the one that arrived first.  When I first started reading it, I didn't think I was going to like it, but I'm only 60 pages in, and I think it will be fine.  It's about some underwater treasure seekers.
