Trudy - I am sorry to hear that you didn't get more for your glassware. Have you considered selling them directly off of ebay? You might get more than selling to another place.
DonnaM - Good luck to your SIL. Back pain is a real challenge. I hope the surgery goes well and he gets some real relief.
Mary - We have the traveling dinosaur exhibit at our zoo. We went and saw it last week. It was fun and since we went on a Thursday, not so crazy crowded. I was going to post a photo here, but realized it is still on my phone, not the computer, so I will try and do it this weekend.
I have been in a reading mode. Luke got sick on Tuesday night and Maggie on Wednesday night, so Mike and I have been alternating time off, which since they both slept or laid around meant extra reading time for me. I read the Beth Andrews book. it was okay, the ending was too rushed for me. Then I read another CS Harris Book, that was a fast read. A bit disturbing - more so than the first two books. However, the series has me hooked and I will be picking up the next one as soon as I can get to the library. Right now, I have two other library books to read - Catherine Coulter's newest and Linda Castillo - Gone missing.
Maggie has her bday party tonight - thank goodness she is feeling better. So I will have 7 little girls at a slumber party tonight - Pizza and cake and the movie - Mirror, Mirror. Can't believe she is turning 9. Tomorrow will be an easy day as she will likely be tired and crabby. Not sure what the plan is for Sunday, but State Fair on the docket for Monday. Should be a fun weekend. Hope everyone has a great weekend.
