Did I tell you my grand kids mugged for the camera? Well, the grandson saw this dead tree that was in the rocks & you can see the results!!! Yes, he checked to make sure it was stable. He is 16!!! Looks like a little kid to me! As you can tell we had a fun day. Thanks for letting me share it with you. I really can't wait to go back to this place to do some more exploring.
At this point I will be glad when the Olympics are over! I keep watching until midnight because of the way they televise them. It bugs me that they don't show all of an event until it is done. They keep switching to something else so you have to watch!!! Grrrrrrr! I did see the interview on James Bond but somehow missed seeing the car ride. Maybe I can catch it on YouTube or NBC!!! It must be out there on the web somewhere. What I did see was interesting. My two favorite Bonds are Sean Connery & Pierce Brosnan. I've not seen any of the movies with Daniel Craig as Bond. Guess I should rectify that!!
Amanda, I admire you for hanging out your wash. We have no place that we can hang things where I live. I would only hang out my sheets as I like the way everything else is coming out of the dryer. There is nothing nicer than sheets dried outside. They smell sooooo good! Glad to hear you made it through Wuthering Heights. There are times I wonder why some of those books are classics & some people rave about them. A case of to each his/her own I guess!!
Sandi, I'm glad your hand has been okay. Here in my area they advertise a website called Angie's List. I don't know if they have it in your area but you might be able to get recommendations for a contractor if you check that out. Good luck finding someone honest & reliable to do the work. I haven't read Chasing Fire or Rescue Me yet. Probably won't for awhile. Money has been tight this whole year! Once I get the credit card paid off, yet again, it will improve some. Thanks for the info on Fresh Fiction. I'll go there after I post. Does your brother have pictures posted here on google+? There are some photographers here that post pictures, one that I like is in the Santa Cruz area. If he has anything it would be fun to see it. I'm finding more & more to like on google+.
After some cool weather over the weekend it is warming up again! The prediction for today is 90! But at least we don't have the humidity although it rained for maybe 2 minutes on Saturday. Ugh! My car looked horrible after that. Lucky me, some cheerleaders from the JC in Santa Rosa were having a car wash. I took advantage of it. They only charged $5 but did a great job. I told them they should charge more.
Mary, I think you also posted but I am blanking out about anything in your post. Sorry! Glad you were here. I never take any notes.
Trudy, it would be very hard to part with a class ring. I was not able to get one which has never bothered me to much except when I was in high school. Most lawyers start working for you after a retainer fee. This one must have got burned a few times. Or maybe it has all changed which I am unaware of.
This will do for now. I'm reading a good book but will wait till I'm done to say more. I'll leave you with the granddaughter this time. This picture makes me laugh! "Time to rest" is what I think when I see it. :-)
