That's my sister's favorite title for her emails. I guess it covers a lot of. . .stuff. . . {:-)
Sandi, I just got the website for Fantastic Fiction from my librarian. What a "Fantastic" place!
Donna M, thanks for the titles for the Shelter Bay books. I've got my name down for the #4 one, and I'll order the others from the library as soon as I get a couple more of the Bullet Chasers books finished. I've got 4 more after I finish the one I'm on. The one I just finished "What You Can't See" was a trilogy with 2 other authors. Roxanne's book was -- can't remember. Something about Believing. All 3 of these stories were rather a lot more scary than I usually read -- demons, and that kind of thing. Dark. Isn't that the term they use for stories about the underworld? Well it was dark all right! Pitch dark!
Thanks for the update on Trudy.
Mercy halt?!? Up here our guys -- or the other team -- would beat the pants off the guys they're playing, and the higher the score, the better they like it.
Cady, your birthday's on Easter next year? (and my hubby's) I haven't looked that far ahead yet. Thanks for letting me know. Whoa! Your mom's brave! Had I waited that long before heading to the hospital, all my kids but one would have been born either in the car or at home.
It's your library that gives out the coupons? -- okay. It's still a good idea. Maybe I'll have to give that idea to my library, too.
Margie, Valerie's (Lots Of Cats) email is: george544@juno.com I did get her permission to give it to you. Her oldest, Sylvia (Lil P), has speech problems, and she had to fight something fierce to get her into a program. She can tell you all about it.
Donna M, I'll have to see if my library has any Catherine Anderson books -- I mean, they'll have them, but will any of them be there waiting for me to borrow them -- that is the question.
Trudy, good to see you again! Even way up here we're hearing about your storm systems. Our 60% chance of a rain shower pales in comparison! So, is your birthday on Aug 20, too?
Mary, aw fiddle. I missed the guess by 3 books. {;-(
My daughter informs me that I misunderstood. She hasn't gotten the test results back yet from the tests the dr wanted her to have, so she could still have fibromyalgia or any of those other things along with the carpal tunnel thing. He also wants to send her to a specialist in Regina (2 hrs from us). What kind of specialist he's going to send her to without the test results is beyond me. Well, I guess it could be worse.
We're going up to Edmonton again the end of Sept for my mom's 90th birthday. My middle sister didn't want to do anything because mom's not well. It's not like she's going to recover from what she's got, so the rest of us outvoted her and said party while you can. It's not like we're doing anything big. There will be 17 immediate family there, as well as 10 extra guests for cake and icecream in the afternoon, and a family supper in the evening. We've got double that number (Hardy's family) for our family wiener roasts. But then I'm not 90, either.
I was emailing my sister before I came here, and I told her it was time to sign off and go to bed as my brain had gone to bed without me over an hour ago. Good night! Have a nice weekend!
