Hi Everyone,

Today I am home all day, came back yesterday from my short cat/house sitting stint.  This picture is from my day at the coast with the two grand kids that live in Oregon.  As you can see it was not a clear, sunny day which is not unusual on our coast in the summer!  We had a great day anyway & it wasn't cold.  Later I will post a picture of them.  They mugged for the camera & kept me laughing.  Nice memories now that they are back home & it will be some time before I see them again.

My daughter has not let me know about my son in laws surgery.  It might have been postponed for some reason.  I think when he has a medical issue she gets a little overwhelmed with everything.  I'm trying not to let my imagination run away with me.  It is not like her to not keep me posted.

Margie, I'm so glad to hear your Disneyland trip was a success.  It will be fun to look at yhour pictures when you get a chance to post them.  It seems harder to take pictures at a place like Disneyland where they are so many people with so much going on.  When I was in Las Vegas last year I took very few pictures but others were snapping away.    As I have stated before there were just too many people, cars & stuff going on all the time.  The pictures I did take were mostly in a couple of the big hotels & one of the sunrise out my hotel on a tiny balcony!!

Cady,  sorry to hear your two have been sick.  That is never fun.  Sounds like everything is okay in time for Maggie's party.  You are brave having 7 little 9 or close to 9 year old girls at one time.  I'm sure they had fun.  I have Mirror, Mirror on my Netflix list as I love Julia Roberts.  The concept of this movie seemed interesting. Just seeing her costumes will make it worth watching.

Trudy, good luck with getting the rest of the money together for the lawyer.  Again, interesting how much some things are worth.  I hope whatever the issue is concerning the lien gets resolved soon.

While I was cat sitting I did quite a bit of reading as there wasn't a lot for me to do.  That was kind of nice.  Here is what I read:

Product Details         Product Details

The other book was Glass Houses by Stella Cameron, an older book.  I couldn't find a cover picture even on her website!  Amazon did not have a picture of that book!!  Oh well!  Changing the Game by Jaci Burton is smokin' HOT!  It goes in the erotica class I believe. Yes, there was a lot of sex but I liked the story.  It is part of a series she is doing about professional athletes.  I'm a little behind on the series but plan to catch up! The books are also connected because the first two books are about brothers, the next one is the sister who runs the family bar & restaurant.

I think this catches me up for now.  Laundry is in the dryer but will be done soon.  Enjoy the rest of the weekend!  Here are my  crazy teenage grand kids!!  So adorable...

Happy reading,
Donna M
