Hi guys! I haven't been here for several days so I wanted to get caught up today. We have been watching the Olympics at night so I have spent very little time online all week. We've been enjoying them for the most part. Our medals count continues to rise. Of course we loved the women's gymnastics and the swimming. Like Donna I feel that NBC is not near as good as ABC was when they covered the Olympics years ago and I don't much like Bob Costas either. I like to get immersed in watching and enjoy watching some of the other stuff that doesn't get as much press like the white water canoeing.
Donna M--I will keep a good thought about your sil. I hope you hear from your dd soon. I enjoyed seeing the picture of you gks! So cute. I liked the picture of the grave marker. I am not afraid or grossed out by graveyards. As a young girl I lived across the street from one. We used to take walks in there and ride our bikes and look at all the old markers.
Trudy--I have read several of Maeve Binchy's books. I hope you enjoy the one you found at the library. Sounds like you are finding out some interesting things about the stuff you are selling. Sorry about your class ring. That would be hard to do.
Margie--good to see you here and it sounds like you had a good time at Disney Land. Glad Gavin enjoyed it.
Cady--I am about half-way through What Angels Fear and really liking it so I will definitely be continuing to read this series. The characters are interesting and their pasts are really interesting! Kat and Sebastian are not perfect hero material for sure! I hope Maggie's party was a success and happy birthday to her!
As I mentioned I am reading What Angels Fear by CS Harris and enjoying it. I went to Jo Ann fabrics yesterday and got some great deals on fabrics. I got two designs to make tops for myself and some Christmas fabric. Guess I should get busy sewing soon.
Our weather has continued to be hot and humid. I am so looking forward to cooler weather. I hope everyone has a good week. Sandi, Donna H and Amanda, I hope all is well with you and you check in when you can.
Mary
