Hi Ladies
Sandi, A good thing came out of that bad situation for the attorney. He stopped drinking and got help after that. Started working again and moved to Florida so I guess that woke him up. I know what you mean about getting rid of old documents. It's crazy how long we save things. I found a file box on the top shelf of my closet when we moved. It had checks from the 80's and 90's! I just took them to the dump with lots of other stuff since the accounts had changed long ago. I hope you find a contractor to do your work. Would a handyman do? Some are very skilled at carpentry and flooring. Maybe you can call a local realtor. My realtor had some numbers for handymen who could help fix up the house. We already new someone so I didn't call but she said they could do pretty much anything. I know it could be risky but you might be more likely to find someone willing to do a smaller job.??
Donna, Happy Birthday! I hope you have a good day. It was hot this weekend but seems to be cooler today...but it is still morning! I watched a bit of the 49er game. Glad they won.
We had a party for my dad on Saturday. Just a few people. It was hot but we put the air on so it was comfortable inside. The kids got wet outside so they stayed cool. I didn't watch the closing ceremoy...only bits here and there. I am still reading the final Sabrina Jeffries and enjoying it. It was just too busy this weekend to get anything read. I picked up Andrea Kane's new book so that will be next. I miss her historicals. Wish she and Julie Garwood would do them again. Oh well!
Have a good day.
Margie :)
