Happy Mother's Day everyone! That includes Margie also because you are a special auntie!
The recital was great yesterday. Lauren did so well and she was so excited. She loves ballet class. The program was Remember the 70s with all kinds of 70s music. Lauren's class did their dance to Rubber Ducky and they were so cute in their costumes. Parents could arrange for flowers to give the girls after the show just like real ballerinas. Lauren just beamed when she got hers! It was a great day--we also celebrated Mother's day yesterday with a family dinner with all the grandparents and my brother. The weather was beautiful as well so we spent the rest of the day after the show outdoors. Today I am just vegging and catching up on emails.
Donna M--love your pictures. I made chocolate chip cookies. They are everyone's favorites. Yes, the little girls are so cute in the costumes and during the show. They had to perform in front of a lot of people. Surprisingly there were no meltdowns.
Sandi--my reading wish list does get longer all the time because of being in the library so much. But my wallet has benefited because I buy a lot less books since I can get most of the books in the library system. Loved your story about your unexpected gift from your trip to California!
Cady--I really liked The Restorer. I have the next two books in the series in my tbr. I like Amanda Stevens' writing style. Didn't John Devlin remind you of Nicholas Brisbane? I am hearing good things about Nora's book--The Last Boyfriend. I have it on reserve.
I am reading my mom book now. It is an older Desire by Sheri Whitefeather called Night Wind's Woman and is good so far.
I hope you all have a great day!
Mary
