Hi everyone!
Amanda--what a great picture! Your girls look so grown up and don't you look nice. Happy birthday to Aurora!
Donna M--your picture of the Oregon coast reminds me of our trip to Maine coast years ago. It can be very foggy at times but once the fog lifts the views are amazing. Have fun reading while you are house sitting.
Donna H--have fun on your Calgary trip and we will be waiting to hear all about it.
Margie--as far as getting rid of gophers (we call them groundhogs here) if you have animal rescue in your area they might give you a trap and then come back for the gopher once it is caught. That's what they do around here. The are clever little guys so it might be hard to catch. They do love gardens. That book you are reading sounds good.
Cady--hopefully your week will continue to be a good one. That is always a nice surprise when you get more money than you are expecting from the insurance company. Glad you had a great weekend. That's funny with your take on John in The Restorer. I guess in the second book she goes to a different graveyard and there is a new guy in the book but the third book John returns. It will be interesting to see where the series goes.
Sandi--I hope you had a nice Mother's day as well. Check in with us and let us know how you are doing.
Sunday was quiet since we had celebrated on Saturday. We had a nice dinner and I did a lot of reading without guilt. I finished Night Wind's Woman which is my mom book for May. It was a sweet, sexy story with a new mom as a heroine and her mom and the H's mom were also featured in the book. Today I started reading A Natural Woman, Carole King's autobio. It is a little slow starting out but I'm sure there will be interesting tidbits about her and her famous friends. I also started one of the Brenda Jackson books I got from Tell Har. Tonight I will be watching DWTS and reading.
Have a good week everyone!
Mary
