Mary, that's too bad that you have an allergy to lilacs. I love them! We can't grow them in Texas, so I really miss them. I will burn Yankee Candles that are lilac blossom. My family loves it. I also burn some lilac warmers that are the liquid plug in things from Bath and Body Works.
Did you get a vinyl picked out? When is it being laid? I need to go floor shopping for the bathrooms/kitchen. When I looked at vinyl they were all tile looking, and I decided that if that was the look I'd really rather spend a bit more and get tile!
I think they changed the hours because I refuse to send people home as kids go home late in the day. I know that everyone needs their hours! I also don't want to short myself in getting things cleaned and being out of ratio! I don't mind working the early shift, I just need to remember I'm not as young as I used to be, and go to bed early, and not have a bunch of late nights in a row!
That polar bear is amazing! It looks so real. Do you have other lego pictures?
Margie did you get the Mann book? I'm dejunking books, and found one that I kept...it's a desire from sometime back, but it's by Catherine Mann, and I won it from some contest, and it's signed!
Mary, sorry to hear you didn't get to the floor store. I haven't been on Harlequin for a bit. I think it's more fun here, and it seems like people only discuss Harlequin titles on the site, and I like that we read a variety of titles!
Donna, all your pictures are great, but I really like this one! What a perspective! Oops...just realized you don't know which one I'm talking about, but I do because I'm making notes as I read posts! LOL!!! The picture I'm talking about it from Friday and was taken at Calaveras Tall Trees State Park.
Wow, Donna, one more talent to add to your ever growing list of things we're discovering about you!
Trudy, glad to see you. How rude of your son! I get saving for emergencies...but you also can't take it with you, and I'm sure you went to France because the timing was right and the price too good to pass up, because while I don't know you in person, I can't imagine you doing the trip if you thought it too much of an expense. Hope you get some AC help fast!
Donna, I put the content warning to try to give us more privacy, and not get people here who hopefully are honest about being of age. I can attempt to remove if you'd prefer.
It's not really the season, but here's a picture of our house at Halloween
The Rocking chair was made by Brian back when he was in high school. It won a prize in a show.
Here are some bluebonnets from this season. I took these with both my cellphone (Iphone and my Ipad after I earned it at work) I wanted to compare the cameras and the screen quality.
I also have been doing some reading. Can't wait til those of you reading The Witness finish it. I loved it! I'm currently reading a book by Sherryl Woods. It's about a single mom, so that's going to be my Challenge book. In June are we doing a dad book?
Hope everyone is great!
Sandi
