Hello to all my friends & a Very Happy Mother's Day. We are all mothers, grandmothers, aunts, with special children, even if they are adult, in our lives. Enjoy the day. Since it is Mother's Day I thought we all deserved flowers. This one was taken at the Eugene Rose Garden last summer. I love the colors in this rose. Our paper has an article today about what moms really want on Mother's Day & boy did they hit the nail on the head. Most women when questioned said yes, to all those things kids make at school, the cards, breakfast in bed, brunch out, but what they all had in common was please give me time to myself, quiet, no cooking, no cleaning, no going out for brunch when I still have to take care of the baby. It was oh so true!! My daughter is working at the hospital & my other daughter lives in another state. I'm just enjoying my usual quiet Sunday. :-)
There is really nothing new so I will leave you with another rose & a wish that the day is what you want.
