I just wanted to pop in and say hi. There was a problem with my phone line inside wiring so my line was down a few days. This happend about a week ago and then it started working so I didn't have to pay to fix it.
I didn't have the money right now to have someone come out to look for the problem so I was holding off. But my sister and I finally figured it out. There is a line in her room that the wire comes out of the wall to a box (jack) but the box has no plug for a phone line. (?) Then a wire comes out the other side and into the other wall. It is loose and just on her floor so she stepped on it and I think it has a short. This jack thing serves no purpose that I know of. Can't unplug in a phone so what is it for? I can't cut it which I was tempted to do when paiting. So she will tape it to the wall and we'll just be careful until we can pay to have someone take it out. I'll be back tonight to read all I've missed.
