Hello Everyone!
So, wanted to add to our picture collection. This is from the Philadelphia Zoo two years ago wen they had the Lego exhibit. This polar bear is made up of 95,000 legos! I think they said it took 10 months to do him. Could be wrong on that part though.
So, I did finally read all the posts, but didn't take notes. Just too much and I'm watching the hockey game (NJ just went ahead - booo).
DonnaM - Love those photos! I will never say no to those posts:) Its pretty much the only "traveling" I'll be doing for the foreseeable future - lol.
DonnaH - All weight loss is good! Keep us updated on it. Love the pics. I wouldn't have thought about the cake running either. You are a woman of many talents, as baking - or cooking - is not in my arsenol. But I always appreciate eating it - lol!!!
Cady - I like the bedding and did notice the books. Won't take a pic of my bedside table - its piled high (but not as much as before) with books. Drives David nuts. Lucky for me, David doesn't voice an opinion too much on how I decorate the house, so the bedding is usually more feminine. Just as long as I stay away from pink. Not a color I'd pick anyway. Baseball is just starting there? Spring sports all start in March here - either practice and/or games. Its a killer because it will overlap with the end of bowling season and they end up missing something. And I can relate to them playing/practicing at the same time at different locations - ugh!
Mary - What about this crazy weather? Next week they are calling for low 70's all week - I can't wait! I'm going to be visiting Knoebles in July. How close, or far, is that from you? I haven't been there before, so it should be fun. And happy belated b'day to Jacob!
Margie - Great pics of your new house. Love the huge yard. Glad you were able to make the library opening. Wish ours was two floors. I can't imagine 500 people in ours, that's for sure.
Sandi - How's adjusting to Richard and Elijah living with you? And I can't believe your hours changed again! What is up with that?
(Yeah, the Flyers tied the game up - woo hoo!)
So, its been busy here. Typcial spring. And work is crazy busy. Yesterday R&L Trucking was at our place with a stock car (NASCAR) and a sprint car. Very cool to see them up close. As Ardex makes car soaps/waxes, this is a good promo to have stop. They bbq'd, so I got lunch out of the deal too:) Next week will probably be just as busy - sigh.
Being busy means not reading much. Just about done and Intrigue by Julie Miller (a fav of mine) - The Marine Next Door. I can use it for the "mom book" for May. The h is a single mom who's a cop, on a task force looking for a rapist and with an ex-husband who just got out of jail, for raping her. The violence is not given in full, and is more focused on the ex following her now that he is out. The H lives next door with a fake leg, thanks to a stint in Afghanastan. I'm really enjoying the book. Hope to finish it up tonight.
Ok, off I go to get a few things done during intermission (we are heading to overtime. I hate nail biters). TGIF to everyone!
