Hi guys!


Just a quick stop in. I finished reading Murder on Astor Place by Victoria Thompson. It was very good and a good start to the 'Gaslight' series. I will definitely continue reading this series. The setting is 1896 in NYC and the heroine is a midwife. She gets into solving murders by helping Detective Sergeant Frank Malloy who accepts her help very reluctantly. There are 14 books in the series with the latest one just released. 


Cady--I think you would like this series since you liked the Maisie and Molly books. It is a bit dark but very realistic for the times.
