OHHHHHH. . .

Okay, I understand -- about the content warning.  That's fine, it can stay.  I thought the Blogger guys did it and we had no choice.  When I understand the reason, an extra click is no big deal.  {:-)

Sandi, I remember Brian's chair -- you told us about it at "that other place". . . {:-P  It's beautiful!

A dad book for June sounds good to me.

Mary and Sandi, if The Witness is that good I might have to break down and read it in hardcover.  I'll be spending a lot of time sitting at my kitchen table -- that's the only place in the house where I can rest the book on something while I read.

Donna M, you and me both. . . I was ambitionless today, too.  If I'd had my druthers I'd have stayed in bed this morning.  My daughter called at 4:15 a.m. in tears because their roof was leaking in 2 places and she was scared to wake her husband and tell him (it's a long story, but he's not abusive).  Anyhow, by the time I got her settled down it was 5, and close to 6 before I dozed off again.  I must get up at 7 to get to church on time.

I don't like the trade size books either -- they don't fit my book cover.

I had eggs for breakfast and I should have known better.  Eggs don't do nice things to me, so I sat through a very long church service with an upset stomach.  Not only did we have communion this morning, but we also had a business meeting afterward, plus I had an executive meeting after that.

Thank you, but I'm not sure what you mean.  I'm lucky to be artistic enough to be able to make things.  Other people have clean houses. . .  {;-)

Well, I'm going to go to the library site now and reserve The Witness.  I think I'll reserve the other two Irish books, if I can remember what they're called.

I'll probably be too busy to come here tomorrow, but on Tues I'll tell you all about our dessert night.  {:-)
