Good Afternoon Readers...

Another picture of Yosemite Falls, not sure which section this is!  Memory blip!

Sandi, good to see you here.  Since you haven't posted for a bit I had a feeling you were very busy.  Work sounds crazy which makes me enjoy "retired" all the more.  After reading your comments I wonder just where your employer thinks her responsibility is!  It seems she really left you managing everything.  I can understand that when you have a sick child other things take a distant second.  I hope when Elijah comes back things will be a little smoother.  The adjustment is going to be hard on all of you but I'm sure you will handle it & learn as you go.

Mary, I was missing Cady also.  She said her kids were starting baseball so she has probably been extra busy.  Your library days sound busy.  I have had bad luck with DVDs from our library.  They get scratched so bad I usually have to give up watching what ever it is.  I pretty much stick with Netflix for my DVDs.  That said I did pick up 2 DVDs at the last library sale to fill in for those times I don't have a Netflix movie to watch.  They were both a bargain at $2 each!  I've watched 1 of them the other I will get to in time.  I do hope you get to come west again.  I would like to go east someday but not sure if that will happen.

Speaking of movies...I watched Hugo last night.  A little slow, interesting, very different, well done by Martin Scorsese (sp?).

I finished reading Barefoot in the Sand.  I probably mentioned that already.  I decided to pick up a historical to mix it up.  I'm reading the next Spindle Cove book by Tessa Dare.  After that I have a lot of choices since my Amazon order came & a library book was ready to be picked up.  That is probably what I will read next as there were quite a few requests for this one when I added it to my list.

It is warmer today, ugh!  I need to go take care of some dirty dishes then get something in the mail.  The tags    for my car license came so I also need to get those on.  Only $97 for the privilege of driving in California!!

Here is another Yosemite Falls picture to keep us cool!

That was the closest I could get at that time with camera & telephoto.

Enjoy the sun if you have it, stay cool not hot & find time to read.
