It's been super quiet here. Everyone must be busy enjoying the Summer. It looks like it it going to be a really beautiful Friday here. The last couple of days have been too windy to enjoy the day but it looks like things have cleared up.
DonnaM, I love that road pic. It is so pretty and I can't believe they actually put a stone boarder. It looks so much nicer than those metal guard rails. Who is the new to you author you are trying out?
I didn't get a chance to doing any reading so still just at the beginning of The Last Boyfriend. We decided to go get sandles at the outlets. I found a really comfy pair at Clark's. Then I decided I should get some new bra's too. I hate bra shopping but I got lucky and found two and, since I was getting bra's, I figured I'd get undies too.
Gavin got a haircut. It's so short. More buzz cut this time and he looks so grown up. I think t's a bit too short but his hair grows so fast. We had a bit of an issue with our trip. My cousin and her two kids are going with us but she told me Wednesday they couldn't go. This messed up everything. I was upset and sad too. Her & I were to share expenses for our room which I've had reserved over a month. My sister and another friend are sharing the connecting room. I was going to have to cancel my room and sleep on a rollaway in their room. But we also wanted my cousins daughter to come but she couldn't. She is 7 years old and so good with Gavin. She's his buddy. After talking to my cousin some more, we found out it was a financial issue that had popped up on her and we arranged to help her out with that so they could still come.
