Good Afternoon Friends,
The morning has flown by due to the fact that I did not get up until around 8:30. It was nice to sleep in for a change. I think it was because it was cool & also because I looked at the clock earlier without my glasses so I thought it was earlier!! I haven't been to Farmers Market today as I don't really need anything. I will probably be sorry later in the week. Windsor, a nearby town, has one tomorrow which gives me an option.
The picture above is a close up of the one I had on my last post. The terrain & the immense difference between the southwest & here just boggled my mind!! I'm so glad I got to see this area of the country. It makes me wonder just how many thousands of years did it take for this to form that cave/hole. Thankfully as you come into Zion there are a lot of places to pull over & since it was a Sunday a lot of traffic.
It has cooled down here for which I am very grateful. It was cool enough last night that I shut the windows part way. Very unusual for me during our summer. Sometimes that fog just cools it down so much that it feels colder than it really is after it has been hot! I hope that made sense. I'll reread!! Yep, I think it is okay. I was trying to change text color but did something wrong! Guess I will just stick to basic black!! :-) Success!!
Cady, it sounds like you have a good weekend planned. I hope you & Luke have a good time on your date night. What movie are you going to watch? I have 2 here from Netflix, The Adirondacks which is a PBS special & We Bought a Zoo. I think I'm going to watch the Adirondacks tonight. I'm sure Maggie will have fun at her sleep over.
This should catch me up for now. Everyone enjoy the weekend. Here is another picture as we were coming into Zion.
I loved this red road & there is that big formation again! I also like this one due to the lack of cars & people! Yes, I was fascinated by just about everything.
Happy reading,
Donna M
