Hello Ladies!
I am not done catching up on the posts, so my comments on them will wait.
Vacation went pretty well. So, in three days, the main points were: Alex and Amelia having baby water leeches on them in the creek (glad I did not go in). The owner did say he had never seen them before and we are thinking maybe it might be because of the major flood last year in Bloomsburg (which is less than 20 miles away from where we were). We went to feed the deer (pics later), which was fun and the owner who took us out was a trip! It was hot, hot, hot on Friday while at Knoebels, so we left mid-afternoon and went back in the evening. I decided that horseback riding is more fun when you are younger and/or do it on more of a consistent basis. I was sore!! I also had a horse that thought our ride thru the mountain was a chance to chow down at the buffet. All he want to do was eat. Aurora almost fell off because the saddle wasn't tight enough and she doesn't say anything (ugh). Hello? A mountain? You really don't want to fall and roll down the hill. After getting off the mountain, the horses decided its trot time - OMG! After over an hour on a horse, I do not want to trot. Trot in the beginning is my motto. And, last but not least, a thunderstorm came thru late Sat afternoon and we lost electricty. That wasn't so much a problem, as we were going out to dinner anyway. But, the toilet didn't want to work, even though we bought bottled water to fill the tank (no electric/no water). So, at 10 pm we are packing up in the dark to go, because 7 people and no toilet is not a good thing. We arrived home about 1:30 am. At least my bed was more comfortable to sleep in:)
Going to Target tomorrow to print pics and will download them on a disc. Hopefully I can then post a few on here. Now, off to get ready for bed. I am soooooo happy tomorrow is Friday, since it has been hell at work this week. I am nowhere near done month end closing either:-( And I have an added project of getting the utilities and a few other things coordinated for the Tampa warehouse which is moving - sigh. Like I don't have enough to do.
Hope everyone had a great Friday!
Amanda
