Monday night

Hello ladies!

Sandi ---  How are Richard and Travis doing?  Hope both are feeling better.  Good deal getting out early Friday since it wasn't a great day.  Did you get your kitchen cleaned?  I have to get mine clean too.

DonnaM ---  Thanks for the invite.  You know if I make it that way, I will be stopping to visit.  On the storm that hit the area, my area got nothing.  New Jersey still has a lot of people without power, some of which won't get it back until Friday.  Totally sucks since we have been in the 90's for the past week with no break thru the weekend.  You should see all the trees that are down and the looting that has happened.  That part is terrible.  On a brighter note, love your  pics, as usual.  They just make me want to be there.

Margie -- Glad Gavin had a good time in the water.  My youngest has been itching to go down to the shore.  Might go next month.

So my day started at 6 am today - ugh!  Aren't I suppose to be on vacation?  Had to take David to work because we put his car in for inspection ($320 later).  So there I was hanging wash at 7:30 - yeah me!  Tomorrow I don't have to get up until 8 or so.  Taking my car in for a front end alignment.  Gotta love cars.  I took Amelia for her yearly check up and she grew 4 inches - the most ever for her in one year.  She also gots three shots - took them like a champ.  Did do a little cleaning, but not as much as I should have. 

So, Saturday night was book club, and then a few of us planned on going dancing.  This is something I haven't done is year.  Had a great time.  The "entertainment" was soooo worth the price of admission ($5 cover).  You name it, we pretty much saw it.  And the majority of the crowd was over 40.  I saw women in clothes they should have never been in, single men that can't dance (and were trying to pick every single woman up), and even a few swingers working the crowd.  It really was priceless.  Can't wait to go again:)

We leave Thursday morning for Knoebels (its an amusement park).  Its a 3 hour drive from me.  We actually have to meet the people we are renting the house from to get final directions because it seems gps systems don't get it right.  Should be interesting.  Gonna be hot, hot and hotter while there - ugh.  The girls should all have a good time.

Still reading Tall, Dark and Dead.  I am enjoying it, just haven't had a  lot of time to read.  Hoping to finish it before going to Knoebels.  We shall see.

Ok, off to go let Jen's dogs out.  They, and the cats, are always happy to see me.  Hope everyone is having a good week and enjoy the 4th.  Anyone have plans?  I don't since we leave the next morning, which is fine with me.
