Wow, lots of posts to catch up on! Y'all are busy, busy, busy! I can't keep up with everyone!
Amanda~~What a vacation! I was right there with you in your description. I've done everything you did except ride a horse and been every place you were too. If nothing else, you'll talk about this vacation for years! I still talk about going through Agnes in a tent at Cape Point, Cape Hatteras, NC in 1972!!!
I saw George Donaldson of Celtic Thunder in concert on Wed. at Flannigan's Irish Pub in Dunedin, FL. It was an intimate setting and he was about 5 ft. from me!! It was a great concert and I got to meet his wife as well since he brought his wife and daughter along. They are doing Disney World and Busch Gardens, etc. now. We also got to chat and I got his autograph. George is the only Scot in the group, as well as, the only married one and the oldest of the group at 43. He is a folk singer by choice and his CD reflects that.
Amanda~~Forgot to ask, if you're overseeing moving a wharehouse to Tampa, will you be coming to Tampa at all? If so, let's get together. I live within miles of Tampa. Not looking forward to Rep. Nat'l Convention in a few weeks though as it will totally disrupt this area.
I just finished Stormy Challenge by Jayne Ann Krentz, one of her early works and written under another name. It was on my TBR pile. I didn't care for it as I thought the hero, Court, was very controlling. I'd have been outta there a long time ago! But the book was written in the 1980's so things were different then.
I won several of Julianne MacLean's books. They came this week and were autographed by her. They are the first three books in her Pembrooks series. I've read her Highlander trilogy and loved it so, I'm sure I'll love these books too.
I wish I could send some of this rain to those of you who need it. Seems since TS Debby came and went, all we've had is daily T-storms and more T-storms. I haven't even been able to go swimming because of them as by the time the sun has moved enough so that it's not so hot, the storms come. Do you know that during the last heat wave, Florida was the "cool" spot in the nation?
Well, my dog is driving me nuts. He knows that it's bedtime so I'll close. I do need to start doing something about my legal situation. I seem frozen and unable to do anything about it and time is running out.
