Well, we almost got rain. It started to rain for a couple of minutes and then stopped. I have to say, I have never hoped for rain as much as we have lately. I really feel for the farmers. I am thinking of going to the farmer's market on Saturday, but truthfully, don't know if they will have anything.
DonnaH - Congrats on your weight loss. I did really good on the Menopause Makeover 2 years ago, but it all seems to have crept back on me. I decided on Monday, I was going to have to start again. I hate dieting in the summer, so I am planning on dieting Monday through Friday and enjoying my weekends. Better than now.
Amanda - Sounds like your trip had some challenges, sorry about the power outage. I haven't ridden in years, but remember the thigh workout it gives you. I hope you get though today and enjoy the weekend.
DonnaM - Are you not petsitting as your clients are traveling or is it because you are traveling when they do. I have noticed that a lot of people are still doing the staycation option.
No big plans for the weekend, Mags has a sleepover tonight and Mike likely won't get home until 7 or 8 from work, so Luke and I are planning "date" night. I think we are getting Noodles and renting a movie, so it should be fun. No other plans for the weekend, but I am sure we will think of some. Read Linda Castillo's Breaking Silence and that was really good. Up now, is Tracy Grant's Secrets of a Lady. It is about a spy couple. It was a good read recommendation, so I will let you know what I think.
