Mary - I am sorry to hear about your brother. We didn't realize what was going on with the weather and drove straight through the mess. Still didn't realize how bad, until the two places we stopped for the bathroom had no power. Then began to get nervous, we wouldn't have enought gas to get out of the area, but the turnpike had gas, so we were fine. It sounds like a mess.
DonnaH - We were outside for most of yesterday at a baseball game and our seats were in the sun - and you are right, you don't perspire, you sweat. :)
DonnaM- I would highly recommend the Outer Banks as they has some of the most beautiful beaches I have ever swam in. The weather was amazing and oddly, the ocean wasn't that cold at all. I was horrible with pics, only took a couple and they were of the kids, so I can't show any off.
Amanda - I haven't read Wuthering Heights, I have read some of the "classic romances" but that one is very intense I have heard, looking forward to what you think.
Sandi - I would love to redo my kitchen. I think appliances are one cost, I think the other one is changing the structure. We talked a bit with our contractor when we did the basement and he told us, it is moving walls and materials that can kill you. We replaced our floor and appliances when we moved in, but the cabinets are old, old, old. But, I am not sure about design and I imagine I will need 2 or three years of saving to have the funds for it. So maybe in the future.
I am still reading "To Die For" and I can tell that the author is a "Christian writer" This book wasn't suppose to be a religious read, so it is a bit annoying, but since it isn't too much, I am moving on. I am enjoying reading a book about Anne Boelyn that is more pro-Anne, than anti-Anne.
Hope everyone has a great Thursday. I am working, but hoping to get out a bit early.
Cady
