Hi everyone!
Our heat and humidity have dropped to more comfortable levels and I am grateful. My brother is back in his apartment with power for which I am also grateful. I hope the rest of you are enjoying better weather than last week.
Trudy--it is good to hear your a/c is working and the other good news from the lawyer. Glad the uti cleared up. I have never had one but I know they can be painful. Enjoy the Irish pub!
Donna H--I enjoyed your Emil story. Hope it can be restored.
Margie--Yes I don't wish heat and humidity on anyone. It is a fact of life if you live in PA in the summer. I haven't started The Last Boyfriend yet either. It got mixed reviews.
Sandi--Don has done a lot of lamp rewiring over the years. He has gotten very good at it! We have lamps that are over 35 years old and I can't part with them. Our bedroom lamps are patterned after old-fashioned hurricane lamps and you can't find them now except at garage sales. Sorry things at work are still not good.
Donna M--I never get tired of the Bryce Canyon pictures. I don't know if you get the Living Well Network on your tv but there is a show called Motion where the host and his brother visit all the National Parks and film areas most people never see. Last night's show was Utah Highway 12 which takes you to Bryce. It was filmed in January and the views were beautiful. The show has a F/B page and website too.
I finished reading Endangered Species and it was a good quick read. Not sure what I will read next. Are there any ideas for a July book?
I hope all of you are having a good week.
Mary
